We are looking for a Farm Manager for organic Vegetable & Fruits Farms. The responsibility of the Farm Manager include managing all farm operations - monitoring and training staff, monitoring crops at all stages, managing daily harvest and customer order delivery, purchasing all farm supplies, preparing reports , updating inventory , handling customer queries and complaints and ensuring profits for the farm.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates must have knowledge of vegetable & fruits agriculture. Knowledge & Experience of organic production methods would be a plus point.
Detailed Responsibilities:-
Farm Manager for Organic vegetable & fruit Farms.
1. Identifying sources of raw materials i.e seeds, organic manure, agriculture tools & equipments etc and purchasing the required quantities.
2. Preparing and executing plans / schedules for planting seeds, harvesting crops according to right seasons.
3. Ensure that farm staff execute all daily activities i.e watering, weeding, inspecting etc on time and effectively.
4. Performing regular checks and tests on soil quality, water quality and organic manure quality.
5. Recruiting and training staff for the farm
6. Receiving customer orders and ensuring despatch of crops to the customers in a timely and aesthetic manner everyday. Also track the delivery status to ensure that orders are being delivered correctly and on-time.
7. Improving customer experience by resolving their complaints and winning their trust.
8. Improving crop quality and productivity in the farm through increased staff productivity, adoption of new technology, better academic knowledge and best practices in the organic agriculture industry.
9. Prepare statement of expenses, budgets and financial reports in support with seniors on the farm.
10. Reduce Costs and Increase Customer base of the farm.
