Contract farming can be done in papaya because papaya is a short time crop, which starts harvesting very fast. Papaya is a very profitable crop because as it is very much in demand and the market rate is too good. The buyback rate is decided before the contract is signed. An immediate solution is been provided by our agronomist. Papaya is the best crop as the fruiting starts very soon.
Papaya grows well in well-drained rich sandy loam soils with a depth of 45cm or medium black soils free from waterlogging. Light soils with a pH between 6.5-7 are very good for papaya if they are adequately manured. Best quality production and high production is there due to the best climate and soil condition. Our company provides the best papaya plant contract farming services at a reasonable cost in India.
Papaya is a tropican fruit but it does well in mild tropical climate. It grows well from sea level up to an altitude of 1000m. Papaya should not be grown in areas with strong, hot or dry winds. A dry climate at the time of ripening adds to the sweetness of fruits. The ideal temperature for growing papaya is between 25-40 C while temperatures below 10 degrees delay ripening. In high rainfall areas are not suitable for growing papaya due to the death of the plants by collar-rot disease.
